I was suppose to receive a check from one of my friend in Texas. I live in New Jersey. It was delivered on 18/12/2014. I have not received it yet. I don't have a tracking number. Is it delayed because of Christmas and holidays? Please help.

Definitely should have arrived by now.
It may have been sent to an incorrect address - in which case it will be returned to sender - or - most likely it was never mailed.
Doesn't the old "cliche" come to mind? "The check is in the mail"...
You say it was delivered but that means you got it. Did you mean it was sent? I can't imagine it taking this long so I would call the person who sent it and make sure it was not returned.
