Yield: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
- 3 lb ground beef ($12.00)
- 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice ($1.89)
- 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans ($1.19)
- 3 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce with mushrooms ($3.00)
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce ($.89)
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained ($.89)
- 2 Tbsp minced onions
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp pizza seasoning
Steps:
- Cook hamburger first; drain.
- Add all of the above ingredients.
- Bring to a boil for 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour. Stir occasionally and then serve when heated through.
