No Heat in 2001 Dodge Ram 1500?

We had no heat and no leaking fluids. My husband changed the thermostat and still no heat. Any suggestions?

Not saying this will work, but I drove the front end of my Lincoln up on car ramps. I cracked open the reservoir cap and squeezed the upper hose to force air out of the system. You will see air bubbles arise in the reservoir. Then close the cap tightly.
