Removing Air Freshener Residue from Piano?

We accidentally sprayed air freshener close to my great aunt's dark cherry piano and now there are sticky spots left. I tried using Pledge and they are still there; it looks bubbled. I'm afraid any rubbing will make it all worse. Help please!:(

You are most likely going to have to sand that area down, and restain it. With it being such a small area, you can probably get by with using the small sample sized containers of stain/varnish that they carry at lowe's. Use a fine grain sand paper on it going with the grain.
