Removing a Dent from a Patent Leather Sneaker

How do I remove a dent or crease from a patent leather sneaker (retro Air Jordan 11s)? It was not made by me, but is a factory defect.

You need packing paper, cardboard inserts and a steam iron. Here is the YouTube video. https://www.goo … Famp_page%3Dtrue

It should have never made it past inspection. I would take a picture and send it to Air Jordan.

Ooh, definitely contact them, unless you got it like that for a known discount. From solecollector.com:

-Stuff the shoes as much as you can, so that the creases pop out
-Put a thin piece of cloth on top of the creases
-Place an iron on the spot for no more than 10 consecutive seconds.
-Unlike decreasing with leather, DO NOT use water in this process.

Just remember that patent leather is plastic - not leather so do not try the suggestions that say "leather" - make sure the instructions are for patent leather.
Did you buy these at a discount because of the dent/crease? If not then you should return them - but if you try some method and it damages the shoe you will not be able to return them.
Suggestions for patent leather:
Take the shoes to a good shoe repair shop and let them fix it.

Stuff shoe with paper (works better then plastic bags) and use a hair dryer on hot cycle for no more than 30 seconds at a time. Let cool while pushing the paper inside to release the dent and hold for several seconds/minutes. Try again if necessary.

A wooden shoe stretcher might work if shoe is left in the hot sun for a few hours.
