Repairing a Sunbeam Breadmaker?

I have a Sunbeam breadmaker which makes perfect bread/dough/jam. However in the kneading cycle the bread bin rocks from side to side making a terrible noise, unless you hold it still while the paddle kneads the dough ball. How can I fix it so that the bread bin stays still while the paddle kneads?

You need to unscrew the bottom so you can see what is doing. You may have a loose or broken belt. Usually you can find these at garage sales or on Freecycle. It doesn't pay to fix it unless you have the parts cheaply.

The newer sunbeams (past few years old) have reviews online with issues like you report.

You may want to check with their customer service to see if there was a recall or if they have any solutions. You can use this link for email or phone contact.
