Repairing or Selling a Rockola Jukebox?

I have 2 480/Rockola jukeboxes full of 45s. If I can't find a repairman in Cleveland Ohio where could I post for sale? I have had no luck.

My latest go to for selling big items is Facebook Marketplace and I have found local SWT (Sale Want Trade) boards on Facebook also. The third facebook configuration is local (your community name) and the term Flea or Yard Sale or Garage sale..

So if you put Cleveland (or even your community name) into Facebook and the letters SWT or Flea or Yard Sale or Garage sale, all the local boards should come up.

Most you have to be approved to join (usually takes 24 hours).

I have had less luck, but still some selling on Nextdoor.com You have to sign in with a user name and password, but it is free (so is Facebook).

The thing to remember with these is safety first with any of these venues as you have people coming to your house. Take cash only (unless you have square or other method to take charge cards).

Do you know what is wrong with your jukeboxes or what repairs they might need?

  • If you do not know a little about the playing condition it will be difficult to list them for sale.

  • If you know what parts are needed to make them work then you may be able to list them on several of your local sale sites: Craigslist, LetGo, OfferUp, IOffer, USA4Sale, and many more if you check ads.
  • These sites are good as you can list on almost any of the sites (at the same time) and most of the sites are free to list. You need to list on sites in your area as the shipping costs of these machines (for an individual seller) is very high.
  • There is no way for someone to tell you anything about the value without knowing the true condition and then it would still have a lot to do with your area.
  • Here is a site that gives appraisals and also buys Rockolas.

  • Here is another site to check out.
