I always try to save on electricity. I put items on power strips and unplug items I am not using. A few years ago I bought a twin window fan. I liked it so much I bought two more. I got them for $4-7 at yard sales.
They really save on electricity and, since I don't feel the heat that much, I have not slept with the air conditioning for the last few summers. Yesterday I got a letter from the power company congratulating me for being one of the customers who uses the least electricity, and they told me that I've used even less than last year.

Good job on saving so much electricity. I wish I could do the same. I have one of these twin window fans but maybe a need one or two more.
That's great. Where I live there is no way you can leave your windows open at night while sleeping. I wish I could.
