My sewing machine bulb broke and now the machine won't work now. My machine has had no problems in the past so it came as a shock. I didn't mind the bulb breaking because they're easily replaceable, but when the machine wouldn't work, I got worried. I don't want to send it in for repair right away until the bulb comes, but I'm worried. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong with it?

What is the make and model of your sewing machine. This would help to determine your problem. You could have a short or need to have a bulb in the machine in order for it to work.
I have same issue with my machine, the make of the machine is AEG and the model is NM 3768
A broken bulb wouldn't cause the machine to stop working. You may have a number of things wrong, from bad wiring to broken gears. Look at your owner's manual for trouble shooting.
