A very tasty, quick meal. If you use frozen meatballs, the preparation is about 15 minutes. A lot faster than going out for fast food or pizza, and so much healthier and cheaper!
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Yield: 4 servings of 5 meatballs
Ingredients:
- 20 cooked meatballs (about a pound)
- 1 14.5 ounce can fat-free chicken or beef broth
- 3 1/2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

Steps:
- Put flour and 1/4 of the broth in a container. Shake well to avoid lumps.
- Put the rest of the broth and the flour mixture in a pot.

- Bring to a boil. Stir constantly until thickened.
- Add the meatballs and cook until the meatballs are heated throughly.

Do you eat the meatballs WITH the stock/ flour mix once cooked?

Yes! It makes a nice sauce for mashed potatoes, rice or noodles.

I'll try this with my homemade meatballs. I look forward to trying it. Thank you Judy!

I've done it both ways. I prefer homemade, but I like to have the frozen on hand for those hectic worknights.
