Temporary Glue for Glass Centerpiece?

Temporary Glue for Glass CenterpieceI am doing a wedding centrepiece with a wine glass, cylinder vases, and a mirror. What adhesives can I use? I want non permanent glue, I would like to take them apart and use the vases and wine glass for another project.

These are pretty.

For something as important as a wedding, I would be nervous using something non permanent. I would be afraid they would get jostled and break.

I agree. For something important like a wedding, I would want to ensure glass is glued on well. Due to transporation and what not, we don't want loose ends.

I would use hot glue. It peels off

Hot glue can work. I would test this first though. I used hot glue to make a project that I just needed for a display and wanted to take apart later on. I needed to glue a few stones to a glass object. At first the glue worked well then all of a sudden the stones fell off.

Yes the glue was easy to remove from the glass object but it just didn't hold very well at all. Test this on a small area and make sure it will hold before makeing a lot of these for your wedding.

It may be the angle of the picture but this sure looks top heavy to me - and - more will be added to the top?
Tables are 'bumped' quite often at get-togethers so try to remember this when setting up your tables.

There is a special glue for non-permanent placement but I believe it turns yellow (for easy removal).

There is a wide choice of colors/designs in duck tape and I've used this with a lot of success. It is pretty easy to remove if not left attached more than a couple of days but any remaining glue is also easy to remove.
