Troybilt Engine Exhaust Blowing White Smoke and Oil?

This year my 2008 Troybilt Pony mower took about 6 times trying to start before it finally caught. Then it started blowing thick white smoke. I let it run for 3 minutes to clear, but it got worse and spit a lot of black oil out of the exhaust. I shut-off immediately.

The past year it had trouble starting at first use, but then ran fine all season.
Don't know what to do on this.

Sounds like a blown head gasket.

Get it serviced before the engine gets destroyed

it sounds like your engine is somehow compromised and oil is leaking into your gas line or other systems. Could also be that it's really dirty and needs a cleaning. Either way best get it sorted quickly
