Unclogging a Toilet?

I accidentally flushed down one of those hard bleach tabs, the one you're suppose to dump inside the actual tank. Well now every time I flush the water level keeps rising. My toilet is obviously clogged. What's the fastest way to dissolve the tablet allowing me to flush again?
