Value of Antique Porcelain Doll?

A porcelain doll in an ornate dress.Again I have had her for a few years now and I just can't keep her and I could use the money. If anyone recognizes her it would be great if you could let me know what she is worth!

She is very pretty. Is she 14 inches or smaller? If so, they typically sell for $5-10 in most markets.

If she is 15 inches and taller, you may fetch up to $25.

Dolls are very slow to sell because there is a glut on the market at the moment. They are also very fragile.

The question I answered about the pretty dish you have gives good feedback on how to pack fragile items. Dolls are in this category!

Just one more thing to add here. If you are selling her, please do not advertise her as "antique". Antique is typically something 100 years or older. She is vintage or modern.

On most of the doll sites they call them modern dolls. Labeling it as an antique will either make people angry or may get the ad tossed off if you put it on eBay. Thanks again!

Dolls in general are very slow sellers and values remain very low. As mentioned before, only large dolls (over 35") seem to be holding any kind of value and even with the higher value it is still generally hundreds of dollars less than the original price.

Your doll is very pretty but in her condition - used, hair in disarray, no box, no COA, dress/jewelry problems - will be difficult to sell for even a low amount.

I believe you should think about finding someone to gift this one to but that's just my opinion.
Hope you have success with all your items.

Ashley Belle dolls are mass produced and are not worth more than $25, even if never taken out of the box.

Ashley Belle - a popular doll maker, has hundreds of dolls on the market . They are not bringing in the value that they deserve. Although they are priced between $25 to up in the $100's , this is wishful to get , because of so many listed.
