I have uploaded pictures of a antique table and 6 chairs which I inherited from my mother or my mother's mother. I'm seeking to establish their worth. There is a label underneath the table top that says that it's the reliable Hax- Smith Furniture Company out of st. Joseph Missouri.

This company went out of business in 1974, after being in business for 125 years. The value is what someone would pay. I would bring in pictures to an antiques dealer and see what he or she says.

This is a lovely set! They are not familiar to me so I am thinking they may not have been moved out east too often because of the size and weight.
I would suggest calling an antique store in MO where they are from and getting a few opinions on value there then contact a few stores in your area to see what they are selling for in your town.
Where I am this type of big heavy furniture is not popular. Pittsburghers are more or the Mid Century Modern lines or the Duncan Pfyfe style.
