This one is asking $75. Im not sure if it is 46 inches. That size was not mentioned on eBay www.ebay.com/.../283188530250?hash=item41ef5a0c4a...

There are no tall dolls that match yours on eBay at the moment. There have been in the past...and sadly they are almost all unsold.

The last example of the one on the right was unsold several times in the $50 range on eBay.

The one on the right has been going unsold as recent as last year in the $40 range.

This is disappointing because the tall dolls usually held their values. I am surprised that these did not.

The only way to find today's ACTUAL market value is to find an exact match that has sold...either on eBay or EBTH or one of the other big auction sites.

Almost all Ashley Belle dolls are mass produced and even the larger/taller dolls may be produced in at least 2500 so as a general rule they will not be of high value.

46" is not a popular size as it is larger then most people want in a doll.
Generally, the 20-24" dolls are the more sought after ones and they may not sell for more than $25-50 and may take a year or longer to sell or not sell at all.

  • I have noticed a definite downward trend in overall doll values over the past year so even estimated values may have to be even lower.
  • A 46" doll would be a nightmare to try to pack and ship (safely) so you would be more likely to sell for a little higher if you posted them on your local Craigslist.
  • Seems they would make a nice display for a toy store but there are not many of those left anymore.
  • If you post them, be sure to take individual pictures and also post several pictures as well as the size.
  • You can always ask for a higher price and reduce it no one shows an interest.
  • Always be careful of who you let into your home - best to meet and show at a public place.
