Possibly a small clue: this closely resembles Franz Bergmann's (Austrian) boy riding a pig. The mark is not the same though. www.bonhams.com/
Also, the boy riding pig theme appears to be fairly common for German New Year greetings and such.
I personally cant make it out. I would go to a dealer if I were you.
