I have a complete service for 12 of Noritake china, Silver Key pattern, that I bought in Japan on R and R in 1969. It has been used a total of 4 times. What would be the approximate value of this, if it has any at all?

You say that you have a service for 12 but not how many pieces or how many accessory item you may have.
What is included in each serving - items/number in each place setting? Do you have any extras like cream & sugar, bowls, platters, teapot as these are usually the most valuable.
Would it be possible for you to post pictures of your set or some of your set, especially any extras and a plate front and clear markings on the back.
Usually more information can be provided if pictures are posted.
As to selling - sets of china are not popular sellers and very often sell for small amounts. Shipping is high and most sellers will list sets as 'local pick up only" and this means it's kinda like a yard sale item.

The nice thing is this pattern is a consistent seller on line so you should be able to sell by the piece (which is the easiest way) or groupings--like dinner plates together, bowls together.

The challenge is if you are not an experienced eBay seller you are best off trying to sell to either Replacements.com, who will give you 1/8 to 1/4 of retail (what they sell it for) or have a consignment store either sell it off by the piece or the set.
It is easier to sell pieces because people want to replace what is broken. Sets are very hard to sell--even before COVID. Kids don't want china and the main buyers are those of us who appreciate the finer things and do want to replace what breaks.

This can be so hard to determine because China has lost a lot of its value over the past few years. You can now buy replacement plates, cup, and bowl at a company called replacement.com. They normally sell these items for 5-12 each. So your set of 12 plates alone would be around 144 dollars. Selling the set off by piece right now seems to be the best way to earn money selling off China. Selling off the complete set will net you a lot less of the value of the individual items.
