This site: www.chinamatching.com.au/browse.asp?manufacturer=NORITAKE...

and replacement.com will give you retail values for each pieces which you can add up to give you retail on your set. Retail is the price you would pay if you are buying the pieces from them.

As a seller, you can anticipate fetching 1/4 to 1/2 of retail in most markets, sometimes as low as 1/8 of retail per piece if you are in a market where there is a very high supply, and a very low demand.

This set is not microwave safe, which is going to drive the value down for the possibility of selling it as a set. Your market is most likely going to be people who have the set, love it and either broke beloved pieces or need more pieces because their family has grown.

If it was mine I would first try to find a consignment store to sell it as a set for you or offer it on a local Facebook or Next Door group with the highest amount you would be willing to take.

Then take offers and sell it as one lot that way.

You will probably make a little more money (but it will take WAY more time) to piece it off on eBay and sell small lots (like 2-4 plates or 2-4 bowls) at a time.

The downside of this is packing it to ship is going to be time consuming as glass always needs to be double boxed to get to its new home safely and buyers get discouraged when shipping prices are high--but shipping is expensive if you do it right, and if you don't do it right, the buyer gets a box of shards.

Personally (I am a long time reseller and have experience in selling dishes) I no longer sell glass online and take all of my glassware to a consignment store. I get less money, but the hassle is reduced so much and that to me is priceless!

Do be aware no matter what way you choose, dishes are a hard sell in these crazy times and you could have your offerings out there for months or even years.

Post how your sale goes! Blessings in your travels.

Replacements.com will buy it from you for a low price. People in my area are no longer interested in fine china.

Sets that were purchased for $2000 and up are not being sold at all. Good luck selling it.

This is a special collection , because there is not a lot on the market of Noritake Grenfell 457. There are bits and pieces , but not the treasured set you have. I only see one piece on this link, they also buy china.

This one is probably your best chance to see what they would offer for your china. www.replacements.com/search?query=noritake+grenfell&pattern... - also- www.ebay.com/.../i.html?_from=r40&_trksid=p2380057...

You have a nice set and I do not see very many pieces listed for sale or sold in this pattern so that could either be good or bad news.
Your set has some drawbacks: Only 36 pieces with no extra bowls. platters, etc. Also, it is not microwave safe so this could also affect it being an easy sell.

Shipping a set of dishes is kinda like packing up a bomb - it could 'explode' at any time. Truthfully, I would never sell a set of dishes online just because of the danger of breakage when shipped.
You might want to try listing it for sale on sites like Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, etc and list it with pick up only. You may be able to sell it like that.
List it as high as you wish with best offers considered and pick up only. If you receive no offers after several weeks/months then reduce the price and wait again.
Noritake sets are still selling but usually we have no way to tell how long a set has been posted for sale before it is sold. Could be listed for a few days or months or years as sales are unpredictable.

You can take a look at the sets listed for sale on eBay and if you see a similar set (not your pattern but approximately same number of pieces) you can place a watch on that listing to see if it sells.

Here is a link to the sets that have sold on eBay over the past few months. There are sold pieces in your pattern but you may find a similar set so you could get an idea of what buyers are paying for similar sets.
