Value of Smithsonian Series?

I have the Smithsonian series 1930 1-12. How much would it be worth?

I tend to believe you have the 1930 edition of Smithsonian Scientific series 1-12.
Asking prices for this set seem to run from $40-$250 but I have not found any recently sold sets so a 'current value' cannot be known as 'asking prices' only show what a seller would like to receive for their items.
Here is a set that sold in 2016 for $16:

You can find these set listed for sale online and maybe get some ideas of how to list your set. Many sellers are listing one individual volume for $4-$10 each but it takes a very long time to sell 12 volumes (a set will probably not sell very fast either - no matter the price.)

Value? You may have to make that decision yourself but you could list your set on several online sites like Craigslist, USA4Sale, Facebook Marketplace, offerup letgo, Ioffer, or any other site you're familiar with. Start your price high - maybe $200 - list it with best offer considered, local pick up (saves on shipping) and leave it listed for several months. If no offers received then lower the price and wait again.
If you do shipping it should be by USPS Media Mail as this is really inexpensive even for heavy books.

Can you clarify, please? Are you talking about the book series?

Can you show pictures--cover, inside page with publishing details if it is a book series.

Maybe with more info, we can help! Thanks!

This set/volume is in a market where it doesn't have a fair shot! The market has a lot of these same and similar books for sale. Typically books like these do much better when they are over 100 years old. The last set that sold was a auction bid that just ended at $16 for a set. - www.ebth.com/.../4401129-1930s-smithsonian-scientific...

I see there are a few Smithsonian series 1930 and later that are posted for sale. I am not sure which one you have and it makes it even harder to find pricing for yours. it would be nice if you could post some pictures of your books and let us know the series. I did find one series 1-12 from 1934 posted on Amazon for sale. www.amazon.com/.../B000JWQHUQ (Affiliate Link)
