Value of Vintage Unidentified Porcelain Dolls?

I was given two collectible dolls between 1978 and 1982. Both have bisque or porcelain heads, partial arms, hands, partial legs and feet with cloth bodies. They both have "sleepy eyes" that close when lying down and open when sitting up; the left eye on both is not working as well. One is a lady in Victorian dress; the other is a male clown. They have been in storage for more than 20 years, but are faded/worn. I see no markings on them to tell me a brand or manufacturer. Do you have any idea what brand they might be and/or whether they have any value?
