I have seen similar mowers on eBay for $50 and less. That is the asking price. Check eBay at regular intervals for a month or so.

Here is a link to the recently completed auctions and there are several that appear similar to yours....please match the item to the pictures to be sure.

They are all UNSOLD, with sellers asking $350 and up.

That tells me that sellers think they are very valuable, but the market does not bear that high a price. Value is only what people will pay.

I would watch any current auctions you find that match your mower and if it sells, that will give you today's market value.

It is possible tomorrow one will sell for the high prices that people are asking. It is all about supply and demand and if the supply is low enough and the demand high enough...it will sell!!

Keep me posted on what you learn! I really like old mowers and am about a year in to learning about them!! They bring back many fond childhood memories!!

I believe this mower may be more valuable than just the ordinary reel type mower found on eBay.

• Most of the higher priced vintage reel mowers found on eBay - listed for sale and also sold - are motorized reel type mowers. Regular reel type are selling for around $50-$60 and they are listed as pick up only (no shipping).

• This mower may be quite old so you need to find someone that can tell you more about the mower before you try to sell it.
• This mower was called by several names:
• Buckeye Lawn Mower
• Mast Foos & Co Lawn Mower
• The mowers were a side line of the Mast Foos & Co located in Springfield, Ohio as they specialized in other iron/metal products.
• Here is a picture of a similar mower.

• There is not very much known about this mower so it may cost you a few dollars to find out the true value.
• You can ask your question at this site but it will probably cost $10-15 for an answer. The answers are usually very good. You will also have to send them pictures.
