Nutrition is key. A good clean diet with no processed foods is very important. Drink lots of water and get moving at least 20-30 minutes a day. Stretching a lot makes a huge difference, too. Please check out my ThriftyFun article on how I lost a lot of weight:

Good luck to you :)

There is no such thing as losing weight from one part of the body. If you have belly fat you need to burn that layer off to reveal the abs. That is done with diet and exercise.

Eliminate junk and white bread. Eat whole grains, vegetables and protein. Watch portion sizes. Very your exercise. Do yoga or Pilates, strength training and cardio.

First you need to get your doctor's ok on your plans. Seriously, if you are on any meds or have any health conditions this step is critical.with m doctor's ok and guidance, since 2017 I lost 40 pounds by only eating when I am hungry. It takes a while, so your 2 month deadline is going to be a good start, but not realistic for a safe, healthy and keep it off plan. Sorry to be a downer on that. Quick weight loss is not healthy.

Mouth hungry is different than belly hungry. It took a few weeks to sort out that difference, but now it is routine. Mouth hunger is cravings. These are challenge to break, but if you listen to your belly, you can lose the weight.

I eat fruits, veggies, limited meat, limited carbs and very limited sugar and fats. Lots of whole grains and brown rice. Lots of water, no juice or sodas either.

I would have lost more and would be better toned, but I am not able to exercise like I could when I was younger. The doctor and I are working on that issue. Good luck in your program! Post back with your progress!

Hie. I am sharing my personal diets and usually recommend to my clients as well. So lets start first of all you have to avoid junk foods, oily and fatty foods. You have to be very strict regarding your diet. Start morning with warm water of 1 glass. After that, in breakfast eat oats. After giving two hours of gap take your afternoon lunch (you can eat rice in day because it convert into carbs and provide energy).

You have to give two hours of gap in every diet. Sleep is also one of the most important. Take 7-8 hours of sleep everyday. I hope this information is sufficent and helps you to lose your weight.

Belly fat is linked to cortisol, a stress hormone. One of my nutrition books described it as your body giving you a hug in times of stress, in the form of fat! Once it is there, it is difficult to remove unless you make a significant change. Most people have trouble losing more than a pound a week, so adjust your expectations to avoid discouragement.

As Atossa said, you will need to reduce your food intake, make healthier choices and move more. If you have not been exercising, an every other day workout or exercise class is probably the best way to start. If you have been working out, try changing up your routine. Scientific studies have shown that your body gets used to moving in one way and it is best to mix it up. Many fitness people suggest high intensity interval training (HIIT) or weight training is the best for weight loss.

A lot of people lose weight by trying an elimination or strict diet. My personal suggestion would be the Whole 30, which focuses on whole foods: protein, fiber, vegetables and avoids processed food, sugar and salt. This month long program helps to reset your metabolism and tastebuds, and also teaches you a new way to eat. Many people try the Whole 30 or a similar diet and entirely change the way they think about food.

If you have not talked to your doctor, I would recommend setting up an appointment and getting some advice directly. Also, my insurance company had a wellness program that offered a discount to some local gyms and Weight Watchers meetings. Employers often have similar programs or even incentives for healthy choices.

Good luck. I was able to lose 75 pounds by attending Weight Watchers meetings and exercising 5+ days a week. It took me about 5 years to make my final goal and it required a lifestyle change to maintain it, especially as I approach 50. Men often have an easier time losing weight because of their larger muscle mass.
