This is a fantastic garlic bread. It's got a super fluffy moist center with crispy, crunchy edges. You might want to make extra because this stuff goes quick!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 French bread loaf
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix together the butter, mayonnaise, garlic, oregano, sage salt and pepper.
  2. Cut loaf in half then again lengthwise. Cut into segments but not all the way through. Spread butter mixture evenly on bread. Place bread in oven for 13 minutes, then broil for the last 2 minutes until golden.

You can't have Italian food without *good* garlic bread!

Ingredients:

  • 1 large loaf of bakery Italian Bread
  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Steps:

  1. Slice loaf in half (length wise).
  2. Ad

  3. Melt butter in microwave. Add spices to butter and mix well.
  4. Spoon and spread butter over both halves.
  5. Turn on oven broiler on Hi. Place bread on cooking sheet, put under the broiler until the edges turn brown.
  6. Cut it up while it is hot. Put into a bread basket and cover to keep warm.

Thoroughly rub outside crust of bread with two slightly crushed cloves of garlic. Split loaf in half length-wise and place each half, crust down, on cookie sheet.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut bread in half lengthwise. Place, cut sides up, in shallow baking pan.
