Working with Glitter or Embossing Powder

Glitter and powders can be messy. To keep a clean craft surface, first place a large scrap paper (placemat size) on the table under project. After sprinkling powder on project fold project paper in half and aim at a clean paper plate while tapping gently on back. Excess powder will fall into the plate which can be folded in half. Then the powder on the plate is tapped and funneled back into original container. If any powder had escaped, just roll up the placemat and toss.
