Porridge-Fruit Melange

This is a different way to have your oatmeal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 unpeeled apple, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 tsp. finely grated lemon rind
  • Ad

  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 2/3 cup oats
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Directions:

Place apple with banana and lemon rind in a blender and process on low until smooth. Place fruit sauce in a medium saucepan with yogurt, oats, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 5-10 minutes until oats are creamy.

Servings: 2
Time:5 Minutes Preparation Time
10 Minutes Cooking Time
