Removing Hair Dye from Bathroom Sink

This works perfectly! After searching web sites to find out how to remove hair dye from the bathroom sink, I finally found the perfect solution on my own! Take pure liquid bleach. Pour it on the dye stains on the sink. DO NOT dilute the bleach. Let it stand for 30 minutes and the dye will be completely gone! You can let the bleach stand longer if it's a deeper dye stain. Make sure to open the bathroom window and close the door, so that the fumes don't escape and you don't inhale them. =)

Mz. Undomestic Goddess ( I try, I really do!)

I once colored my hair and got dye all over sink. I used comet powder, did not work
then I used 3 other cleaners from under bathroom sink , did not work
then thought "bleach will work" sure did. 6 hours later, my date came to pick me up and as we sat in the living room in front of fire place with my roommate there also drinking a glass of wine, we hear an explosion and we ran down the hall.

Well I blew up the sink ~ugh~ very embarrassing explaining what I had done. I thought my roommate would die from laughing so hard at me!
Just thought to share it with you

Try wiping down your counters and sink with baby oil before you start. Also, Nerium's Duel Action face wash removes just about anything, dye, permanent marker on any surface, even your porous skin!

Ok so I dyed my hair yesterday and got some of it on my sink, in noticing I didn't have any bleach on hand I waited till today to do anything about it. Well I was brushing teeth and thought hmmm? I'm gonna try that, so I put toothpaste on the affected areas and let it sit for 30 minutes, low n behold the dye had dissolved.

So, another friendly tip for all, if at for some reason you don't have the cleaning products I suggest simply using Synsedyne or Crest.
