How do you bandage an ear? Regular Band Aids don't work due to the shape of the ear.

Use several large gauze pads and gauze wrap; place the gauze pads against the wound and hold it in place using the wrap to go around the head.

Gauze pads and wrap are available in any drug store, and in the health and beauty aisles of most stores like WalMart.

Is the wound something that a doctor or nurse-practitioner has seen? He or she should have shown you how to bandage, wrap, clean the wound, and re-bandage/wrap the wound. If they didn't you might consider calling or going back to the clinic and asking to be shown proper wound care.

Whatever it is, I hope the patient recovers quickly:)

Whoops, the below advice applies to four-legged patients as well! LOL, it occurred to me after I hit post that you might be asking about a cat or dog with a reason for needing an ear bandage.
