Shinook (Jack Russell Terrier)

Shinook is a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier. My coworker and friend had Jack Russells and bred them. I got one from the last litter. He was 6 weeks old when we were able to bring him home.

He loves to dig, hunt, and search for things. Shinook also like to swim, give kisses, go horse back riding with me, and make new friends. He was a father figure to a baby crow he found last spring under our evergreen tree. We raised it to an adult and named it Jett. This fall, he flew away. We miss him, but had so much fun with him. Jett loved everyone, especally Shinook.

Aww very cute. Also, Jett may come back in the Spring! How exciting would that be?

Thanks for sharing your wonderful story. I'd like to know how Shinook felt and acted after Jett flew away.

What a delightful and unexpected pet photograph! Love to see when different species get along with one another!

Shinook looked around the yard for Jett for a few days, then he just went back to his self. We could hear crows off in the yard and he would bark, & I would call out for Jett he use to fly and land on my arm, but when I would call after he left he never responded.

I'm a waiting spring the crows always come back here to nest maybe Jett will come with his family can only hope and pray.
