Look For Clues To The Age Of Your House

A simple way to find out how old you house is when it was built. Tip Check in the toilet tank, the date inside indicates when the fixture was installed. Chances are that is when the house was built also (of course, new fixtures may have been installed in a older house.) You can also check the county building inspection stickers on the water heater or electrical distribution panel.
