Raspberry Chocolate Bars


  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup uncooked quick oats
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 5 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • Ad

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1(10 oz) jar raspberry jam


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Set aside. Combine butter and sugar in medium bowl and beat with mixer on medium speed until blended. Add flour mixture and stir until well blended. Mixture will be crumbly. Remove 3/4 cup of dough. Toss with chocolate chips. Set aside. Press the remaining dough into an 8 inch square pan and spread evenly. Top with jam and sprinkle with remaining chip mixture. Bake 30 minutes or till golden brown.
