What Breed is My Dog?

What breed is my dog? I have heard everything at this point. He is 2 years old and 48lbs. He has a very soft, short coat and sheds regularly. He behaves much like an Australian Shepherd and Basenji (no weird bark though). I have had people tell me all types of Collie and Jack Russell.

At first I thought he was a Basenji. My father had one a long time ago. Went to some sites that had pictures their ears stand straight up so If he is I don't think he a full one.

We had a dog when I was growing up who looked similar to yours and we were told that he was part whippet. In fact, his tail looked the same (curled with a white tip) and his name was Tippy. He also had a white "stripe" that went down his nose. He was a great dog!

The body and the coat look more like a shiba inu and the head looks like a plummer terrier.

Our girl looks almost identical. We were told cattle dog / shepherd. She also has heterochromia.
We really have no idea- she was a rescue from down south.

Definitely a herder and very smart- learned sit and other tricks with little effort.
