Swiss Green Beans


  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups green beans, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup Special K cereal
  • 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • Ad

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. grated onion


Melt margarine, stir in flour, salt, pepper, sugar and grated onion. Add sour cream and stir until smooth. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened. Fold in green beans. Pour into a 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. Lightly toss together cheese and cereal. Sprinkle over beans. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-30 minutes.
