Mom's Memory Wreath

This is a photo of a baby memory wreath my neighbor made for the mother of a precious baby girl she babysat for for nearly the first year of her life. The family moved away and as a gift she made this wreath containing many of the first items she had used.

It was a grapevine wreath on which she wired the items: a first shoe, cherished toys, a bib, rattlers, etc. I thought it was a very sweet and thoughtful gift.

How fabulous. It's given me a great idea to use something like this as a shower gift or decoration. Tie diapers, bottles, pacifers, stuffed toy...etc. And then a gift certificate. Thanks for the idea!!

I like the idea! Consider a shadow box next time- it will be sealed and protect those precious memories from dust and dirt!

Cute idea, but I would seal it in a plastic basket wrap or something to keep it clean.
