Make Open Faced Sandwiches

There is no set recipe I use for open faced sandwiches. I have them for breakfast or a late night snack. Start with slice of toast and add one of the following:

  • slice of cheese and bacon

  • cream cheese and slice of pineapple

  • strawberry cream cheese and sliced strawberries and/or bananas

Make your own combination; the choices are endless.

Fry bacon until crisp; drain. Toast bread and place on a broiler pan. Divide the beans on the toast. Place the bacon on top of beans. Top with a slice of cheese. Put under the broiler until cheese melts. Watch closely as this only takes a very few minutes!

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 15-20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 5 Minutes
