Oven Steak with Brown Gravy

Easy recipe and very hearty! One of my favorites! Love the gravy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (2 lb.) round steak
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Ad

  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. fat (shortening)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups water

Directions:

Cut steak. Toss in bag with flour, salt, and pepper, and brown well in fat. Blend soup and water. Pour over meat, and cover. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Servings: 3-4
Prep Time: 10-15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 60-90 Minutes
