Memere's Vermicelli Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 box vermicelli
  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder

Directions

Cook vermicelli according to instructions along with butter. Drain and add tomatoes and spices.

You mean a Tablespoon of butter, right, not a lb?

Also I would think it would be a half pound box of pasta with two regular (or even large, can you say?)cans of tomatoes. Is that correct? A pound box would be more like pasta in sauce, it seems to me.

Sounds simple and good.

Editor's Note: Whoops, it must be 1 Tbsp. It would be rolling in butter otherwise. : ) I've changed the recipe but will write to her to make sure. thanks for catching that.

Change: I wrote to her and it is 1 stick of butter. I've changed the recipe yet again.
