I have a 1996 Craftsman riding mower. It turns over like crazy, but there is only a very, very weak spark, if any. I tried a new coil, and have good compression. Set the new coil so many times. I am just at a dead end. lol

Check the fuse under the dash to make sure it is good.
Have you tried YouTube? There are a lot of videos about what to do for weak spark plugs...fixing grounding coils.
Since it sounds like you a pretty handy, a video may show you something you hadn't thought to check/do.
