I was cooking in my kitchen and all the sudden all the electricity in my house shut off, but when I went to my breaker box everything was still in the on position. I tried shutting everything off and turning it back on and I still have no electricity what could be wrong?

The most obvious reason may be that the electricity to your house might be out. Check to see if your neighbor has power or call the electric company, and ask them if an outage has been reported for your area.
This sounds like 1 of 2 problems. First, the electricity is off in your area and it is a general power outage.
Second, this could be a blow fuse in your electrical box that has caused all the lights in your home to go out.
We have the number of our utility company right next to the phone. When our power goes out, the first thing we do is look outside to see if our neighbors have power.
That happened to us the other night. It ended up everyone's power was off in the area. Report it to your electric company.
