Brussels Sprouts, Apple & Avocado Salad

This is a nice light salad that can be served as a meal or side dish. It is very easy to make and most importantly, very healthy for you!

*Yield servings very depending on how this salad is served (as a full salad or as a side dish).


Prep Time: 15-20 minutes

Total Time: 15-20 minutes

Yield: 1 bowl



  1. Chop brussel sprouts.
  2. Slice apples and chop into thin rectangles or your desired shape/size to be tossed with salad.
  3. Open avocado, remove pit. Slice avocados (will mix later).
  4. Combine all chopped/sliced ingredients into a bowl.
  5. For your dressing - combine olive oil, lemon juice, honey and mix.
  6. Optional: Add handful of sprouted pumpkin seeds. Give your salad a nice mix until combined and ready to enjoy.

That looks really yummy and interesting with your nice light dressing.

I've never eaten raw/uncooked brussels sprouts, and thought they had to always be cooked in some way. How silly of me! :)

I guess they'd taste somewhat like cabbage?, which I sure do enjoy.

Yes you can totally eat raw Brussel sprouts. You should give this a try :)
