DIY Sea Glass

Total Time: 20 minutes

Supplies:

• smooth pebbles or colored glass discs
• paint
• paint brush
• spray frost aerosal paint spray

Steps:

1. Paint the pebbles, stones, or colored discs desired color and let dry. I liked how the colored glass discs turned out and would suggest using only these.

 
2. Spray with paint frost. This gives it the sea glass look and worked the best on the colored glass discs you can purchase from the dollar store. Allow to dry. Looks like sea glass!

Have you ever SEEN sea glass? From the sea glass I've found, these painted glass discs or pebbles look nothing like real sea glass. Sorry, I won't be trying this.

The paint frost spray gives it the sea glass appearance.

It is difficult to tell from the picture, but the aqua colored one is the one that actually turned out well.

It's funny...the matte finish ones remind me of Easter M&Ms !!! Hey, if you like the results, that's all that matters. Have loads of fun making your terrariums.

They look cute and I like the colors. What if the glass discs were painted only on the back? I think they would look even better. I'll try.
