I have a free queen size wood bed frame and almost new mattress w/box spring to give to a needy family or individual. The frame is not new, but in good condition.

There are some places that won't take a mattress no matter what because they are worried about bed bugs. I know you do not have them but this is a policy. If you have a FB account you could try to post it there or even on Freecycle in your immediate area.

You could call local shelters in your area. Freecycle.com, ask a local church, for giving to a needy family!
I gave it to the homeless center. An ex homeless person needed the mattress and bed frame, yeah! How do I go about removing this from my post?
