My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 months now and I am absoutely stumped on what to get him for his 16th. Any ideas?

If he is into video games a new game is a good idea, you can get creative and get a new cell phone cover and modify the cover to add your picture to the back of it. it is nice if you put the two of you together on the back of the cover. A shirt is always a good idea or even make him some custom vans to surprise him with them.
Either cook his favorite foods or take him out to a place where he can order foods he loves and enjoy watching a new movie he'd like to see. If you know some sport team he would love to watch live, get tickets to a game when they play at home.
Something I like to do for special birthdays is get the person a number of small things that match the birthday--so in this case, 16 small items.
They don't have to be expensive...it could be as small as 16 M&M candies or 16 poems you wrote or 16 little treats--like a candy bar, a bag of chips, a pack of gum.
I have done this for folks for many different special days. One that stands out is that I gave a special 75 year old a clear glass vase with 75 very colorful beads and buttons. It was in her favorite shades of blue, green, and silver. It has been many years and she keeps that gift on display in her china closet!

My amazing boyfriend's birthday is coming up. I have an idea for a gift, but I need to know if it's a good idea. So my idea, was to get a picture of us having our first kiss.
Then frame it in a nice frame. Is that a good idea? Or should I add something else to this gift?This is a nice idea but not really a good photo to use. Many parents will frown on this idea and will not like it very much at all. It is hard when your kids grow up and this is just a reminder of it all.
Usually public displays of affection are good for private stuff :) I'd frame a different one. You could also get something like personalized bracelets etc, to show your affection
My boyfriend and I have been dating on and off for 2 1/2 years. We are both turning 16 this month and also our one year anniversary is this month. Our families are close. I have gotten him lots of gifts before, but I am stumped. What should I get him? or do with him. He is a varsity football player if that's any help.

I think you should use the pictures you like and make them into a collage and maybe make it into a shape of a soccer ball or a heart or something.. Or you could get him a soccer ball and right with sharpie sweet things or short love quotes:-)

Well whenever I have trouble thinking about what to get my boyfriend I ask my self two things: "is there some activity that we can do together?" ( like going to a sports game),and second is "has he been talking about some interests recently?" ( for example, my boyfriend likes Dungeons and Dragons and was complaining how his books for it are the older additions, so I got him a couple of the newer additions). Personally I think taking him out to an activity is the best gift, because its the gift of a good experience!

Since it's his 16th, how about a key chain. Sounds weird, but they make some nice one's and you can find one that matches your relationship. Or maybe an electronic photo frame with pics of the 2 of you.
Other than that you may think about what is important to him - sports, gaming, etc and get him something relating to that. Let him know you care about what he cares about.
