This could be a mid-century Viking Glass divided relish, nut, or candy dish. Viking pieces came in many colors and their designs reflected a more fluid, modern aesthetic than the traditional "Depression" pressed glass. The gold trim is uncharacteristic however. I found a couple Viking pieces with silver trim listed as special anniversary items, but none with gold. All this said, unusually shaped dishes tend to be more desirable, so I would not value it less than $25 USD.
