These are mass produced dolls probably worth $10 apiece.

These are PMS dolls from the UK. I was never clear when we sold these if this unfortunate name was the distributor only or if they actually made the dolls.

There are none sold on eBay at the moment, but a lot of 5 went unsold at 9.99 buy it now at 14.99:

Unfortunately, this particular brand generally did not hold its value.

Now, that said, you may want to research each of them separately to see if any of them did hold their value, because inevitably there is one ringer in each crowd and I would hate to see you cheating yourself if there is still one of demand out there.

I always research my dolls by SOLD values...I use eBay mostly, sometimes Worthpoint. By looking at SOLD prices, I know what people will pay which equals today's market value.

Remember value and profit are two different things. When you sell online you have to pay fees to eBay and Paypal and that draws away from your profit.

You also have to be sure to wrap these lovelies very carefully or the buyer will get them smushed into a million pieces and you will be out both the dolls and the money as the buyer will demand a full rotund.

These are made by PMS International in the UK but I have not seen any of this particular style doll lately.

  • PMS mass produces dolls and other products and sells to large stores as well as to smaller stores but merchandise is all sold wholesale from their factory. But most of their products are low end and most hold very little resale value.

  • Most people will not recognize the PMS name but may remember the Troll dolls from many years ago.
  • The company specializes in weird and character dolls so it is possible there may not be too many of the dolls you have available.
  • You do not give the size of the dolls and that is a big factor in trying to find a particular doll.
  • Dolls like this were usually made in a series so look also on the bottom of the boxes to see if there are any numbers.
  • From the picture it appears the dolls may be of the small variety and it seems a shame they were made for adults and not for small children. This also limits the value as these seem to be intended for collectors only and there may not be too many of those around.
  • You can send pictures of your doll (and measurements - how tall?) to a doll forum site and someone there may be able to supply more information.

  • When I am researching an item I like to see what others are listing from the same company so if you are interested you can check the listings on eBay.

  • Here are items that have recently sold on eBay (none of your style dolls).
