I have super tiny bugs flying around my house. They are primarily in the kitchen, but I also see them in our living room. They are so small you can barely see them. I can catch them pretty easily, they look to be a copper/light brown bug. You can only see the color after you kill them and they are still. Any ideas?

They sound like gnats. Try to find the nest. See where they are coming in and trace the nest. Spray an insecticide and they will be gone.
They are annoying,(Knats), but harmless!
We are dealing with this very issue at the moment and they are some kind of drain gnat. We have poured boiling water down all of the drains in the house a few times and they have lessened.
Sadly I have had to kill a few (too small to get them directed outside where they belong and they startle me and I swat and get them from reflex).
It sometimes takes a few treatments of the boiling water down the sink to get them to totally die off.
Hope you have a faster resolve than we are.
it almost sounds like a Knat and we have them here on the islands. They are a pain and bug me a lot. You can try some stickly fly paper and see if you can trap them and get rid of them. Try looking around and see if you can find the nest and kill this.
