Identifying a Baby Snake Found in New Delhi, India - tannish brown snake with black stripesI found this baby snake in my kitchen. Any ideas what kind of snake this is? I carefully put him into a box and released him into the wild.

Is it poisonous?

The snake that looks most like your picture is the banded racer. That snake was not poisonous.

It is a Common Kukri, not venomous, very small, babies eat insects while adults like eggs and mice. Thank you for setting it free =)
