Identifying a Painful Bump on Finger Pad

I have this yellowish/whitish painful bump on my index finger pad. It's painful to touch. Does anyone know what it could be? It is hard to see in the photos, but is in the dead centre of my finger.

If it hurts it could be infected. Time to see a doctor.

When I had one it was a wart. Very painful.

Does your doctor let you do telemedicine (where you email them in a secure way a photo, they look at it and give their diagnosis?)

That was how I had mine diagnosed.

The doc then gave me some choices for over the counter meds...I can't remember which one I used, I think she said Compound W. It was painful (to me), but it worked.

Post back with an update! Sending healing wishes.

It might be a "mucous cyst" if you have joint pain / arthritis. Sometimes it's good to check with family members to see if they've ever experienced these types of things since even minor conditions can be inherited.
