Identifying a Porcelain Doll?

Identifying a Porcelain Doll - doll wearing a long floral dress with a dark pink under skirt and matching hatMy grandmother's friend gave me this doll. She has marking on the back. It says she is a "Collectible from Tuss series-1998 inspired, designed, and approved by William Tung." I'm think that her name is Annabelle, but I'm wondering her worth. She is wearing a beautiful flowered dress and her hair in a bun with matching feather hat. She has blue eyes, long eyelashes, and red lips. I would like to know any information or how much she is worth?

These collectible dolls are mass produced and decrease in value. You would be lucky to get $25 for it.

I believe that is who you have. You may want to watch this auction and see if she sells. If she sells, that will give you today's market value. They are asking in the 120s! Asking price is not value, SOLD price is value--so hopefully if she sells that will give you today's market value!

I looked at the doll on eBay and since no pictures were showing, I clicked on the square and a message popped up saying account was suspended (?) - may be from the picture host(?) but not sure.

  • This doll has her box and seller states she is used but never displayed. She has been listed for a long time - since 2011 - so one day she may be lucky and she will sell (?). This length of time to have a doll listed is not unusual, especially if asking price is more than the current value of a doll.

  • There is also a doll presently listed on Etsy for $85 but she has only been listed for a year so she may still sell one day.

  • Dolls are very slow sellers, even nice dolls at low prices so the value and time it takes to sell dolls makes them very low on anyone's totem pole as a choice item to sell.
  • If you are interested in selling, I would suggest you list her on a local site such as Craigslist as people tend to buy a doll that can be seen and not shipped.
  • You can list her at whatever price you choose and reduce it if no one shows an interest.

I sent a message to the seller about the problem with her pictures and she apologized and made a correction and lowered the price so she may sell her now that her price is more in line. She may be more valuable but still slow to sell at this price. Her doll seems to be in almost new condition and has her box.
