Undress the doll completely to try and find more markings. From the looks of it, it is not an expensive doll.

The 'B' probably stands for Bisque which is porcelain with little shine to it. I would put it on the market for $40.00.

She is cute! I know this marking, but it is lost in my brain. The 81 is most likely meaning 1981. This was the hey day of me selling these, so I know I probably sold her at one of the stores I worked in, in those days.

How tall is she? She looks petite.

You may want to try the Facebook site:

doll & toy identification help

You have to ask to join, they will NOT value dolls for you, they are straight identification!

If you want to value her, post back and I can help you, once I either remember the mark or they tell you. They have younger brains than I do on this site, so you will probably hear from them before I find it in my mind.

Post back what you learn. Meanwhile I will dig up my 1981 doll mags and page through them. I just found some last week when cleaning!

Looking forward to learning more!

Thank you. I would love to know more about her. I dont really care of her price. Would love to know when she came out and by who and perhaps if she even has a name.
